The long-running Sodbury Slog proved as popular as ever as the 2016 event saw around 1,400 runners tackle the natural hazards of the South Gloucestershire countryside.
Always staged on Remebrance Sunday and setting off after a two-minute silence, the race takes in the same paths, fields, ditches and mudbaths as it did when it debuted 26 years ago.
There was a 1-2-3 for the University of Bristol Athletics and Cross Country Club as David Green triumphed in 1hr 00mins 15secs, followed by team-mates Andy Salmon and Kit Grierson.
